CHELSEA manager Maurizio Sarri has admitted Tottenham left him and his side surprised at Wembley yesterday.

The Blues were comfortably outplayed as rivals Spurs ran out 3-1 winners in their Premier League showdown.

Mauricio Pochettino’s team have subsequently leapfrogged Chelsea in the table into third place.

And the previously unbeaten Blues simply had no answer to Tottenham’s effective tactics.

While there were some dismal displays defensively from Chelsea, most notably by David Luiz, Spurs outclassed them on the day.
Chelsea orchestrate Jorginho could not get into the game as he was man-marked by Dele Alli.

And Chelsea boss Sarri also revealed Tottenham’s set up and formation left the away side stumped.

Sarri said: ”It was clear in the first five minutes of the match that it was very difficult to use Jorginho as usual.

“We had to try to move the ball through the midfield to the opposite full-back.
