Everton have sacked Ronald Koeman after a very poor start to the 2017-18 season.
Everton were thrashed 5-2 by Arsenal on Sunday, and the defeat leaves them 18th in Premier League table, with their Europa League campaign already almost over.
Koeman spent £150million on new players during the summer, but he has struggled to get the best out of them.
The club have only won two of their last ten games and are in the bottom three after the humiliating defeat by Arsenal.
A club statement read: “Chairman Bill Kenwright, the board of directors and majority shareholders Farhad Moshiri would all like to express their gratitude to Ronald for the service he as given to the club over the past 16 months and for guiding the club in last season’s Premier League campaign.”
